IGNOU is an open university and the students who want to apply for the distance learning courses IGNOU admission can apply either for the January batch or July batch. IGNOU has 21 schools of study in the country and 67 regional study centres.

IGNOU has more than 200 courses to offer from.

Admission to the courses in IGNOU is based on the mark secured in the qualifying examination only.  IGNOU take entrance examination for certain courses like MBA, B.ed, Ph.D and M.Phil.

The registration form for IGNOU can be filled through the online admission portal, which gets available according to the schedule.

• IGNOU admission will be merit based.

IGNOU Admission 2020: B.Ed/M.Ed 

IGNOU offers admission to the B.Ed and M.Ed programme. The duration of both the courses are 2 years each. The maximum duration offered is 5 and 4 years respectively. Admission to the courses will be based on the marks secured in the national level entrance examination conducted by NTA. 

• B.Ed Eligibility: 

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Commerce/Humanity with minimum 50% aggregate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with minimum 55% aggregate.

• B.Ed Selection Criteria: IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test

• M.Ed Eligibility:

• B.Ed degree holder with 55% marks secured.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience.

• M.Ed Selection Criteria: IGNOU Online Entrance Test

IGNOU Admission 2020: BA/B.Sc/B.Com 

IGNOU offers admission to the various courses under BA, B.Sc and B.Com degree. These are the Undergradaute courses. Admission to the courses will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and 10+2 qualified students can apply for admission to the course.

IGNOU also offers admission to the courses such as BLISc/B.Sc Nursing/BPP/BSW. Admission to the courses further will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying exam results.

• BLISc Eligibility: 
• 50% marks secured in the Graduation Degree.
• Bachelor degree with a diploma in library science.
• 2 years of working experience.
• B.Sc in Nursing Eligibility:
• 10+2 qualified 
• 3 years diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery
• Minimum 2 years of working experience
• BPP Eligibility: Minimum age should be 18.
