Delhi University is a Public University which comes under the Central Government. The university offers various UG, PG, Doctorate courses. Du has 77 colleges under it. Admission to the UG courses are generally based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination. Whereas there are few professional courses for which entrance examinations take place. Pg courses are offered in Du admission to the courses either depend on the marks secured in graduation final examination or the entrance examination.
  • Application forms are generally available on the official website of DU. 
  • Application form in 2020 is delayed due to COVID 19. 
  • The application form might be available after May 17. 
  • DU also conducts correspondence learning through School of Open Learning (SOL). 
  • 10+2 qualified will be eligible for UG courses. 
  • Courses such as B.Tech, BMS, BBA-FIA etc will take admission on the basis of entrance examination. 
  • For PG admission, an applicant must be a graduate in the relevant subject.

DU UG Admission 2020:
Delhi University invites applications for various UG programmes. Admission to most of the courses are merit based, whereas few courses like BMS, BBA, B.Tech, etc admission are based on the marks or rank secured in the entrance examination conducted by DU itself.

Joint Admission Test (JAT) is conducted for BBA, BA (hons) Economics, BMS admission along with GD/PI.

DU PG Admission 2020:

Delhi University also offers admission to the Post Graduation Course in various Arts, Commerce, Science programmes. Moreover, DU also grants admission to 1 year course in Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security and Law. Graduation Degree holders in relevant subjects will be eligible for admission to the course. DU UG Admission Process

  • Merit Based: Applicants who have cleared their graduation in the same subject, Chosen for masters from Delhi University itself can only apply for merit based admission. Minimum 50% marks should have been secured in the qualifying examination. 
  • Entrance Based: Candidates want to hold the PG degree from DU but have not studied either the subject as the Honors subjects or had not done his graduation from DU will have to go through the entrance examination.
Note: Students opting for merit based admission can also apply for entrance tests in the same form.

DU MD, MS, MDS Admission 2020:

The courses are offered by the Faculty of Medical Sciences. Forms can be filled through the online process. Students should visit the website for the form. The application fee is INR 1500/- for general category students and INR 1000/- for SC/ST students.

Students who have done their MBBS examination (for MD/MS/Diploma Course) and BDS examination (for MDS Course) from Delhi University along with a year of internship can apply for the course. 

Admission will be based on the marks secured in the NEET PG/ NEET-MDS.
